Dr. Brent Gorrell, Dr. Summer Xue Xia, and Dr. Nelishah Jiwani devote themselves to staying at the forefront of their field to bring you the very best that dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Gorrell has been providing exceptional dental care to patients in the Sunnyvale and Mountain View communities since 1979. He is well-versed in all areas of dentistry, but his passion is to improve the aesthetics of our patients' smiles by offering the latest in modern cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Gorrell has not only completed over 1,100 hours of continuing education, but he is also an associate instructor at the Northern California Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Xia specialized in periodontology at Peking University in China before she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 2016. She provides comprehensive dentistry, including wisdom tooth extraction, conservative gum surgery, dental implant placement, and root canal therapy.
Dr. Jiwani earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2012 and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Temple University in 2013.

At Gorrell Smiles, we don’t just say we offer convenient hours; our dental team is here every day from 7 AM to 7 PM. Can’t make it during the week? We’re also available every Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM. You won’t find many dental offices in our area that provide their patients with that kind of accessibility!
We also understand that you can’t plan for all your dental needs. If you have an emergency and are in pain, we will do our best to see you the same day. And if it’s not possible to see you right away, our knowledgeable team will give you instructions for handling your emergency until we can.
